What is Insideat and what are its values?
Insideat was born in 2019 to promote Italian food and wine culture through authentic food experiences, including food tours, cooking classes and wine tasting, to make the tourist feel like a local.
What language are the experiences in?
All the experiences are available in Italian and English. For Spanish, French and German send a request when booking and wait for confirmation from Insideat.
How do I book an experience (food tour, cooking class, wine tasting, team building)?
You can book your experience directly on the Insideat website (Book here! -Link to e-commerce-) or request a quote for larger groups by writing to info@insideat.eu.
Do you organize tours and cooking classes for large groups? Is there a maximum number?
Usually the maximum number of participants in each experience is 12 people. However, it is possible to organize a customized one for larger groups by writing an email to info@insideat.eu.
What is Insideat’s cancellation policy?
It is possible to cancel the reservation up to 48 hours before the starting time.
Can I change the food tour or cooking class date?/ Is it possible to modify an experience? If yes, how long before?
It is possible to cancel up to 48 hours before the start time and book another experience for the chosen day.
What happens when I book my food tour or my cooking class online?
After booking an online experience, you will receive a booking confirmation email. At the time and day you have selected, you will have to show up at the indicated meeting point.
Are your tours and classes designed for children? If so, do children pay a different amount for the ticket?
Children can participate in the experiences always under the supervision of a parent or guardian. In addition, children buy tickets at a discounted price compared to adults. The price of the children is indicated at the time of booking for each experience.
How long do the food tours and the cooking classes last?
The duration of each experience changes according to the type chosen. The duration of the food tours and cooking classes is indicated in the description of each experience and is visible before booking.
How long do you walk during the food tours?
Food tours are organized specifically to discover the city and try its food and wine specialties by walking through the most characteristic streets, so you walk an average of 2.5/3 hours for each food tour.
Food tours are not suitable for those who have walking problems or cannot stand for a long time.
In case of bad weather, are the food tours postponed? What happens in case of bad weather?
In case of rain, the food tours will be carried out normally with the help of an umbrella and/or personal raincoat. In case of weather conditions that do not allow the tour, participants can decide whether to postpone it or ask for a refund.
Is the tour suitable for vegetarians, vegan and kosher diets?
The food tours are suitable for those following a vegetarian diet. However, it is always necessary to communicate this when booking.
What about other dietary restrictions or allergies? When do I have to inform you about that?
Food allergies or intolerances, if not serious, must necessarily be communicated at the time of booking. Before making a reservation, make sure that the experience is suitable for those suffering from food problems.
It is not recommended to participate in the experience if you suffer from severe allergies or intolerances.
What is included in the price of the experience?
Before booking each experience, you can read its description which specifies what is included in the price.
How soon do I need to book a food tour?
Tours must be booked 72 hours before their start time.
How do I get to the meeting point?
Guests must arrive at the meeting point by their own means.
Which payment methods are accepted?
It is possible to pay with credit and/or debit cards from the Mastercard, Visa or PayPal circuits.
On what days are the experiences available?
Each description specifies days and times in which an experience can be made.

Is there wheelchair access?
Yes, for the Insideat cooking classes there is lift access for people with wheelchairs.
